Suffolk Water Activities Club Oulton Broad – SWACOB

This New operation aims to offer every Cub, Scout and Explorer access to quality water sports provision. The County has been working on this for some time and we are pleased to announce that Oulton Broad is the first such facility, focused on Lowestoft and Waveney Valley Districts.

The club will have full use of the Oulton Broad Water Sports Centre every Friday evening. We will run the sessions under scout association rules.

In our first year we aim to offer every cub and scout in Lowestoft and Waveney Districts at least one session of Canoeing, Sailing, Kayaking or windsurfing. The organisation and coaching of these sessions will be from Scout volunteers.

Please let us know via the contact page if your troop would like to participate…
